When you receive your water bowl, you will find the hose detached for easy shipping. Please note that the brass fitting on the end of the water bowl has a white tag complete with instructions for connecting the hose to a water source, and explains how to adjust the water level. Take care not to turn the brass fitting when you are tightening the chrome nut on the end of the hose or you will change the pre-adjusted water level. Tools needed are a 5/8-inch and 1/2-inch wrench, but pliers will work if needed.
