Make sure the filter is fully soaked before the water fountain is turned on; otherwise water may not be dispersed through the filter smoothly and spill out. Wash the small sponge next to the pump when changing water. To prevent the activated carbon dust (which will not harm your pets) from shedding into water, please soak the filter in water for 15 minutes and rinse it thoroughly under running water before use. According to your pet’s drinking frequency and the number of pets using the fountain, change the filter every 2-4 weeks.
